Trenton shooting outside bar leaves three wounded

on February 24, 2013 at 6:07 PMTRENTON — Two men and a woman were injured as gunshots rang out early Saturday morning outside of a bar in the 700 block of South Broad Street.
Police Sgt. Peter Szpakowski said that detectives are investigating the incident, which occurred just after 1 a.m. Saturday morning.
Information on the condition of the victims was not available, and police did not release any additional information on the incident.
The shooting took place close to a city firehouse, which sped up the response of emergency officials.
Fire Battalion Chief Robert Tharp said that dispatchers received a report of multiple victims near the intersection of South Broad Street and Hudson Avenue, and sent an EMS engine to the scene to assist paramedics.

Trenton police investigate Sunday afternoon shooting

TRENTON — City police are investigating after a person was shot off Sanhican Drive late Sunday afternoon.
Sgt. Peter Szpakowski confirmed that arriving units located one gunshot victim at the scene, but did not have further information on what happened or where the person was shot.
Detectives set up a crime scene near Sanhican Apartments, between Lee and Lasalle Avenues. Officers were searching the area surrounding the sidewalk and a grassy area on the side of the apartment building.
No further information has been released by police.
