Man walks to hospital after being shot in Trenton

on April 19, 2013 at 8:10 AM, updated April 19, 2013 at 8:11 AMTRENTON — A man who was shot in the right arm yesterday on Bellevue Avenue jogged to the nearby hospital, police said.
Police said they received a call just before 5 p.m. that there was a person shot on the 500 block of Bellevue Avenue. Upon arrival, police didn’t find a victim but learned from a citizen that he saw the victim running toward the hospital, police said.
Police said the witness also described a man fleeing the scene toward North Hermitage Avenue.
Police said the victim is in stable condition, but isn’t assisting police in the investigation.
