Trenton police investigate city’s 14th homicide of the year

on June 02, 2013 at 8:47 PM, updated June 02, 2013 at 8:48 PMTRENTON — Police confirmed the city’s 14th homicide after investigating a “suspicious death” at a home this afternoon, police said.
Police said they found a deceased female inside a home on the 800 block of Southard Street around 3:45 p.m.
Police are currently investigating and no further details about the homicide are available.
This is the third homicide the city has seen in the last nine days.
On May 25, 19-year-old city resident Devahje Bing was shot multiple times across the body during an argument over a small amount of money, police said.
Just four days later, 34-year-old city resident Hamidullah Hardy was found fatally wounded on the front porch of a home on the first block of Cleveland Avenue, police said.
