WEST WINDSOR — The Executive Master in Public Administration (EMPA) program offered by Rutgers-Camden will move its classes to the Mercer County Community College campus, the university said in a news release.

The move will affect only incoming students, who will begin their Saturday classes in January, the release said.

“Moving the EMPA to The Conference Center at Mercer offers an accessible, central location for individuals who need to balance work and personal responsibilities while earning a degree that will advance their careers,” said Angie McGuire, EMPA program director.

The hybrid program, which includes online work and Saturday in-class instruction, is aimed toward mid- to upper-level managers in the public and nonprofit sector, the release said. Each cohort is limited to 20 students.

The program is generally completed in two years with one-week residencies during the summer, the release said. Applications are currently being accepted.
