Village Charter School in Trenton purchases buildings, 10-acre property from founding nonprofit

TRENTON — Mercer Street Friends, a nonprofit that started Village Charter School in the 1990s, said today it has sold the school buildings and 10-acre property to the Village Charter school board.

Dale Caldwell, the head of the school and CEO, said the purchase indicates the Village Charter School’s commitment to the city and its families. The purchase price was not disclosed.
