Now, detectives are seeking the lone suspect they believe is responsible for the attack. The man and woman inside the house at the time were uninjured, and no extensive fire damage was reported, said Lt. Steve Varn, head of the department’s detective bureau.
Still, police say it could have been much worse.
“We’re very concerned,” Varn said. “An incident like this could have been catastrophic.”
Police in Trenton have had too much experience with tragic firebombings over the years not to be concerned.
