The announcement came as Mercer County and Frontier Airlines officials showed off renovations to the Trenton-Mercer Airport that forced Frontier to suspend service since Sept. 9. Flights will resume Friday morning at 7 a.m.
Trenton-Mercer Airport underwent a $21.3 million renovation project to handle the increased traffic from Frontier Airlines.
The airline currently serves Atlanta, Charlotte, Chicago, Cincinnati, Columbus, Detroit, Fort Lauderdale, Fort Myers, Orlando, Raleigh-Durham and Tampa. The addition of Cleveland on Feb. 13, Indianapolis on April 29, and Nashville on April 30 will bring the total destinations to 14 cities.
