TRENTON — Notes by FBI agents who interviewed Mayor Tony Mack, audio interceptions and 250 gigabytes of video from within Trenton City Hall are all part of the government’s evidence against the mayor in his upcoming trial, court papers reveal.

The catalog of evidence, amassed during the course of a two-year investigation, was included as part of a U.S. Attorney’s Office motion filed late Wednesday. Government attorneys were writing in opposition to a defense motion that would dump much of the wiretap evidence, throw out statements made by the defendants, and give co-defendant Joseph “JoJo” Giorgianni a separate trial.

In laying out their arguments against the defense’s objections, the U.S. Attorney’s Office revealed new details about the case.

The motion included Mack’s reaction as he was arrested inside his Berkeley Square home last year and informed he was being charged with attempted extortion.

“I never did that, never in my life,” Mack allegedly said on Sept. 10, 2012.
