Mill Hill House Tour gives visitors glimpse inside historic Trenton homes

on December 06, 2013 at 6:40 AM, updated December 06, 2013 at 6:41 AMTRENTON — For the 47th consecutive year, holiday visitors can get a glimpse inside homes in Trenton’s historic Mill Hill section this weekend.
The Mill Hill House Tour, whose theme this year is “Fa-la-la Fabulous,” will take place on Saturday from noon to 5 p.m. At least 17 homes and three churches will open their doors to visitors. One church, the Church of Sacred Heart, dedicated in June 1889, was designed in the Romanesque style with fresco paintings on the ceilings and features three solid marble altars. It will be open to visitors from noon to 3 p.m.
