Last week, Tyrone Hodges, 47, brought 1,000 diapers to the Millhill Child and Family Development Center on Oakland Street and lined up funding for the center to purchase 20,000 more.
The center is going to provide these diapers directly to some of the 2,500 low-income families it serves, said Jess Pepperman, the center’s development coordinator.
