City council approves first-ever Trenton ADA committee

TRENTON — The creation of the first-ever Trenton ADA committee has been approved by city council to help ensure the city is aware of the obstacles to the handicapped and advocate for increased accessibility for the handicapped to public buildings and businesses.

The committee was proposed last year by Sam Fogelgaren, a political activist and student at The College of New Jersey whose brother has a disability. It was given final approval with a unanimous vote from council at its meeting Thursday.
