TRENTON—A resurfacing and repair project slated for the Trenton-Morrisville Toll Bridge on Route 1 and the Lower Trenton “Trenton Makes” Bridge will begin later this year, the Delaware River Joint Toll Bridge Commission announced today.

The project involves the rehabilitation of the roadways in Trenton and Morrisville

A commission spokesman said it is too soon to tell when the projects will begin. The work will be completed in stages.

Anticipated construction activities include milling and resurfacing of designated areas of the approach roadway, cleaning and sealing roadway concrete, concrete bridge deck cleaning and sealing, sidewalk and curbing replacements, installation of sidewalk ramps, and restriping of the rights of way, the release said.
