A grand time had by Trenton High boys’ basketball’s George at all-star game

Though the final buzzer had already sounded, the Trenton High School boys’ basketball team’s senior forward was still soaking in the experience of partaking in the New Jersey Scholastic Coaches Association North-South Senior All-Star Game at Rider University Sunday.
“It was great,” George said shortly after signing autographs for young kids. “I can’t even explain it. Words can’t explain it. It was a great experience. I would like to experience something like this again. I’ve never experience anything like this since I’ve been in high school. So to be able to play in something like this my senior year makes me proud.”
George, the lone local representative in the game, contributed six points, four rebounds and two assists in the South’s 124-114 loss to the North.
Juwan Jones (Linden), Sean Hoehn (Morristown) and J.R. Lynch (Hudson Catholic) all paced the North with 15 points apiece. Matt Klinewski (Eastern) led the South with 15 points.
