Union City ACA Enrollment Event Targets Hispanic Community

With just two weeks to go before the March 31 open-enrollment deadline for Obamacare, members of the Latino community mingled with elected officials and healthcare advocates at an outreach event in Union City.

With some 300,000 uninsured Hispanics in the state, the rally was intended to get the word out to attendees, as well as their families, friends, coworkers, and other colleagues.

U.S. Sens. Robert Menendez and Cory Booker (both D-NJ) were on hand to lend their voices to the effort, as was U.S. Secretary of Education Arne Duncan.
