You may see them on a city street corner, feeding the homeless or picking up litter.
They are High Rollaz, a social club formed around enthusiasm for customized SUVs — but with a community service mission.
Last Sunday, members of the club came to East State Street and Clinton Avenue, where they served homemade food to anyone who came by.
“We just want to see the city of Trenton improve through what we do,” said Chantelle Randall, a two-year member.
The group does a community service project, like Sunday’s free meal event, every second Sunday.
“The first time we did it, we had to grab the people to come,” Randall said. “I think it’s having a positive effect. We have homeless people looking for us every Sunday.”
High Rollaz started in 1996 in New York, and since has spread to the Garden State.
