Shore Residents Scramble for Rental Housing While Homes are Being Rebuilt

Following lengthy grant evaluations and inspections, they’re finally receiving the funding to begin construction.
But they’re unable to live in their homes during the construction — and so they find themselves competing for rental housing as the busy summer tourism season looms.
