Attorney Jim Burns and members of his Newark law firm Genova, Burns, Giantomasi and Webster, met with the council in a special closed door meeting on Monday night to discuss Muschal’s lawsuit.
Muschal has asked Mercer County Assignment Judge Mary Jacobson to allow him to replace any of the city’s department directors, including fire department Director Qareeb Bashir, whom Muschal sought to terminate in April but was reinstated by Jacobson last week.
