$4.5M bond approved for upgrades at Mercer County Community College campus

on June 11, 2014 at 12:27 PM, updated June 11, 2014 at 12:32 PMTRENTON – Improvements to both campuses of Mercer County Community College included under a $4.5 million bond ordinance are expected to be completed within a year.
The ordinance was unanimously approved by the Mercer County Board of Freeholders unanimously Tuesday night.
Jim Gardner, MCCC spokesman, said much of the preliminary work has been done up front.
The college is planning upgrades to science, technology, engineering and math facilities and also “routine maintenance” to buildings and equipment that are showing their age.
