Spots remain on shuttle between Trenton, Six Flags for Mercer County youth employed at park
Steven MillerĀ | June 20, 2014The One-Stop Career Center will begin offering a free shuttle service between the city and Six Flags Great Adventure at the end of the month for Mercer County youth who are employed at the amusement park, and there are empty seats on the bus.Twenty county residents ages 15 to 21 are already registered for the service that begins June 30 and runs Monday-Friday until Aug. 29, Mercer County spokeswoman Julie Willmot said. The shuttle departs from the Trenton Transit Center each day at 8 a.m. and 11 a.m., and departs Great Adventure in Jackson at 6:45 p.m. and 9:15 p.m., Willmot said. Additional runs could be added, if necessary.
Those interested must still apply to Great Adventure and be hired, but Willmot said One-Stop Career Center can assist in that process as well. If interested, call (609)989-6206 or email agonzalez@mercercounty.org.
