Storytelling Arts Inc. was founded in 1996 to bring professional storytellers to classrooms, educators and the community to improve at-risk children’s listening, critical thinking, and communication skills.
After receiving a grant of more than $22,000 from the Princeton Area Community Foundation in June, SAI will extend its reach to young students in Trenton by running a 10-week program working with more than 300 preschoolers in Trenton this fall in regular, inclusion and special education settings. The three-part program, which will be implemented at Stokes Early Education Center, will include in-classroom residency sessions, one-on-one mentoring sessions, and parent/student workshops.
