Wells Fargo looks to boost Trenton with $1.1 million in grants

on August 27, 2014 at 9:14 PM, updated August 27, 2014 at 9:23 PMTRENTON — Revitalization projects around Trenton will get a boost thanks to $1.1 million in grants from Wells Fargo announced today.
The bank will support projects spearheaded by different civic non-profits including Isles, Mercer Street Friends, Shiloh Community Development Corp. and CityWorks.
The funding consists of $900,000 from the state’s Neighborhood Revitalization Tax Credit program, $80,000 from the Wells Fargo Housing Foundation, and $150,000 from the Wells Fargo Regional Foundation.
“Whether it is housing, job training, recreation or education, Wells Fargo is committed to Trenton, and we’re here to provide financial and volunteer support for projects throughout the city,” said Brenda Ross-Dulan, Southern New Jersey regional president for Wells Fargo. “Wells Fargo is excited by the opportunities these grants will bring to the people of Trenton.”
