Principal Shenette Gray will be replacing Henry McNair, who was terminated effective June 30, and the school will be moving from its downtown building on East Hanover Street to the Cadwalader School on Edgewood Avenue.
The district declined to comment about McNair’s termination, citing a policy not to comment on personnel matters. According to a note on the school board agenda, the reason for McNair’s termination is on file with the department of human resources. McNair was principal at the school for one year after Hope Grant left to take the job as principal at Trenton Central High School.
Gray said she is well-prepared for her new role.
