New Jersey Health Initiatives (NJHI), a Robert Wood Johnson Foundation (RWJF) program, is pleased to announce the 2015 Call for Proposals (CFP): Building a Culture of Health in New Jersey – Communities Moving to Action.
PURPOSE
This CFP is intended to further the Foundation’s vision of building a Culture of Health in America by supporting communities across our state to take action to address the multiple factors that influence health: health behaviors, social and economic factors, clinical care, and the physical environment. Funding under this initiative will support up to 10 existing multi-sector, community-focused coalitions across New Jersey over four years. The first year
will consist of a Boundary Spanning Leadership Institute for teams of five representing the community-based coalitions, to strengthen the coalition’s structure, enhance cooperation, cohesiveness and success. The last three years of funding will provide support to initiate, enhance or expand efforts to address specific identified priorities in the coalitions’ communities. Grants will total up to $200,000 per grantee over the four years.
