Trenton man arrested after road rage incident

on October 28, 2013 at 7:03 PM, updated October 28, 2013 at 7:04 PMTRENTON — City police arrested a man who allegedly pointed a handgun at a woman during a traffic dispute last Tuesday, police said.
Aristides Rivera, 21, of the 400 block of South Olden Avenue was arrested Friday afternoon, according to Sgt. Tim Thomas, a police spokesman.
Rivera and the victim were both driving through an alley on the 500 block of South Olden Avenue on Oct. 23 and there was not enough space to pass through, Thomas said.
Trenton man arrested for burglarizing city home

on October 28, 2013 at 6:59 PM, updated October 28, 2013 at 7:01 PMTRENTON — Police on Friday arrested a man who they say burglarized a home earlier this month.
Angel Igaravidez, 49, of South Olden Avenue broke into the home on the 400 block of Liberty Street on Oct. 4, police spokesman Sgt. Tim Thomas said.
“He went into the house and took money and a DVD player and assorted change,” Thomas said.
Two people shot on front porch in Trenton

on October 28, 2013 at 6:57 PMTRENTON — Two city residents were each shot in the leg Sunday night while outside on their front porch, police said.
Police were called to the home on the first block of Elmhurst Avenue at 11:47 p.m. Sunday on reports of a shooting, according to Sgt. Tim Thomas, a police spokesman.
The victims told police two men started firing at them as they emerged from the home, Thomas said.
Trenton man arrested for armed robbery

on October 28, 2013 at 6:50 PM, updated October 28, 2013 at 6:52 PMTRENTON — A city man was arrested last week in connection with an Oct. 15 armed robbery, police said.
Wayne Morris, 26, of Stuyvesant Avenue, was arrested by patrol officers working as part of a task force last Thursday, police spokesman Sgt. Tim Thomas said.
Morris allegedly robbed another city resident at gunpoint on Rosemont Avenue in the early morning hours of Oct. 15. He made off with an unknown amount of cash and an iPhone, Thomas said.
