The death of Robin Williams in an apparent suicide this week generated considerable public awareness of depression, an often underestimated and misunderstood illness that one in 10 Americans will experience during their lifetimes.

Depression can be debilitating and disrupt every aspect of an individual’s life, including his or her health, relationships, education, and career. But it is treatable. Join George F. Wilson, MD, a board certified psychiatrist with expertise in the treatment of depression, during this web chat designed to help viewers understand depression and learn how to determine if they, or loved ones, need help. Dr. Wilson will discuss the warning signs, symptoms, and risks associated with depression as well as treatment options.

To participate, go to our USTREAM Channel at www.ustream.tv/princetonhealth on your computer, tablet, or smartphone on the day of the seminar.

If you’d like to ask a question during the web chat, you can log in using your Facebook or USTREAM account or you can create a new account. Alternatively, you can also submit questions in advance by sending them to PrincetonHealth@gmail.com.
