LAWRENCE — The Mercer County nutrition office has expanded its produce check program, allowing eligible senior citizens to receive tickets redeemable for fresh produce at local farmers markets, county executive Brian Hughes announced today.

Interested residents who have not received produce checks this year can pick up the tickets on Tuesday between 10 a.m. and 1 p.m. at the Rutgers Extension Building, adjacent to the Trenton Farmers Market in Lawrence.
