Domestic Violence Training: SCREAM Against Sexual Violence – April 9, 2013

The TPPB Domestic Violence Working Group is hosting a Domestic Violence Training on April 9th at 7:00pm at The College of New Jersey in the Education Building Room 115. The DV Group is excited to welcome the Rutgers SCREAM Theater Group. The SCREAM (Students Challenging Realities and Educating Against Myths) Theater is the peer education improvisational theater group associated with the Office for Violence Prevention and Victim Assistance at Rutgers University. They use interactive, educational skits to educate audiences on issues of interpersonal violence, specifically on sexual assault, domestic and dating violence, stalking, sexual harassment, and bullying.

The training and performance at TCNJ is open to college and high school students, and people who work with youth. The event is being co-sponsored by The College of New Jersey’s Anti-Violence Initiative, Women in Learning and Leadership (WILL) Program, School of Humanities and Social Sciences, and the Bonner Center for Civic and Community Engagement.
