Trenton police investigate shooting in Wilbur section

on March 28, 2013 at 5:51 PM, updated March 28, 2013 at 5:52 PMTRENTON — A man was shot just before 4:30 p.m. today in the city’s Wilbur section, police said.
The man was shot near the intersection of Monmouth and East State streets, police said. He was taken to a hospital for treatment.
At second crime scene on Wall Street, less than a half mile away, police are investigating a minivan riddled with bird shot. The connection to the shooting was not immediately clear.
